B.C. CELEBRATES 150 YEARS AS CROWN COLONY: Douglas Day is honoured yesterday in front of Fort Langley Community Hall.  On Nov. 19, 1858, at Fort Langley, Gov. James Douglas read a proclamation declaring the territory a British colony.
