I beg
to recommend that [Thomas Forgie (particularly) have his] pay
raised again in consequence of [his] good conduct.
Forgie has been on short pay for a long time, I believe since he last got
drunk or otherwise committed himself. When sober, I wouldn't
wish for a more willing, hard-working man.
